ABOUT

I developed an interest in architecture while studying fine arts as a co - curricular activity during my high school education. To pursue my interest further, I joined NAFA, which allowed to broaden my perspective towards designing and art.

Looking ahead in my career, I would like to contribute towards projects which involve adaptive reuse of buildings. Finding a new use for abandoned structures can uplift the appeal of neglected spaces and reduce urban sprawl. For my Final Year Project, I am working on adaptive reuse of a heritage site. Designing is a powerful skill which is capable of conserving and developing architecture. It is important to conserve architecture from the past because it forms part of our collective memory and gives us a sense of identity.
